Date: Saturday, June 19th
Join Geoff Mackenzie of First Light Yoga, and guest presenter Natasha Samson, of Nourish Ayurveda & Yoga, for a thorough introduction to Ayurveda. This workshop will emphasize how to apply Ayurvedic principles to your breath / body practices as well as your daily life.
So, you've heard of Ayurveda, but you're still stuck in the idea that it's all about diet and the kinds of foods your "type" should avoid?
Or, you've heard of it mentioned in your yoga circles and know that the two are connected, but you're not sure how or where it fits in your life?
Perhaps you know Ayurveda as the “Science of Life”: a comprehensive system of medicine, native to India, that springs from the same philosophical world view as Yoga; and you simply want to know more?
Well, we have the Workshop for you!
You can expect to enjoy a playful, informative and interactive look at the Three Constitutions and how their qualities express in YOUR unique human Mind-Body-Spirit system.
Then we'll go a step further, to explore how you can adjust your yoga practices based on your constitution, to make them as healing and medicinal an experience as possible - every time!
This will be an In-Person event, with limited spaces available, so don’t delay. There will also be a limited number of places for those who wish to attend virtually, via ZOOM.
