Lama Tsewang and Reverend Master Koten will be in Vancouver for a dialogue and question and answer session on meditation, and other topics related to Buddhism. Lama Tsewang and Reverend Master Koten have been friends and colleagues for more than 30 years.

LAMA TSEWANG was first ordained in 1977, and began a three year retreat under the Venerable Kalu Rinpoche (one of the Dalai Lama’s teachers) in Canada in 1982. Lama Tsewang is a lineage holder in the Kagyu school of Tibetan Buddhism. More Information Here:

. REV. MASTER KOTEN BENSON is the Prior of Lions Gate Buddhist Priory, in Lytton BC, a branch of the Order of Buddhist Contemplatives (OBC). He is a Dharma Heir of Rev. Master Jiyu-Kennett, founder of the OBC (1924-1996). He became a monk in 1978 and was recognized by Rev. Master Jiyu as a Buddhist Master in 1983. More Information Here:
