North Shore Zendo presents a weekend Zen Buddhist meditation retreat with Hogen Bays Roshi, co-Abbot of Great Vow Zen Monastery.

It is a fusion of both formal retreat and interactive workshop with guided meditation and discussion. This unique offering is an opportunity to help you discover your heart’s deepest desire and your life’s purpose. Each of us has a reason to be alive. Each of us has things that only we can do. Each of us has gifts to offer our future selves and those around us.

Come and look intimately at your Self to uncover your timely and timeless purpose and experience a taste of Boundless Mind.

This weekend retreat is suitable for both beginners and advanced students. It will include periods of meditation and talks by Hogen. There will also be opportunities for individual interviews with Hogen.

About Hogen:

Hogen BaysHogen Bays, Roshi is a renowned teacher of Zen Buddhism. He is the co-abbot of Great Vow Zen Monastery in Oregon. He has practiced Zen Buddhism for more than 40 years and is a psychologist and a naturopathic doctor. He has been formulating the Heart’s Aspiration: Boundless Mind for the past two years and is very excited about its transformative potential.
